Reliq Health Technologies reported it signed a new contract with a care management network for its iUGO Care platform to deliver customized healthcare to senior citizens in the Asian-American community throughout California.

In a news release, Reliq Health Technologies Inc. (RHT:TSX.V; RQHTF:OTCQB; A2AJTB:WKN) announced that it has entered into a new contract with a Care Management Network, a group which includes more than 500 physicians and 50 clinics across the state of California. The firm stated that "the Network delivers culturally-customized, technology-enabled health care to senior citizens in the Asian-American community across California."

"We are very pleased to be expanding on the West Coast, and in particular to be leveraging our customizable, multilingual iUGO Care and iUGO Home solutions to meet the needs of Medicare, Medicaid and privately-insured patients in the Asian-American community in California...Using our highly scalable iUGO Care platform, physicians serving this community will be able to manage complex patients in their own homes and in their preferred language, offering multilingual Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Behavioral Health Integration (BHI) services," stated Reliq Health Technologies' CEO Dr. Lisa Crossley.

"With iUGO Home, case managers in the network can support seniors aging in place, allowing them to live safely and independently by providing multilingual personal emergency response services, fall detection, medication reminders and geofencing. We expect to begin onboarding patients in March, with an average revenue of US$40/patient/month," Dr. Lisa Crossley added.

Reliq Health indicated that its iUGO Care platform was created to support care coordination and community-based virtual healthcare. The company stated that iUGO Care facilitates high quality home care even for patients with complex medical issues and claimed that the platform aids in improving and enhancing patients health and quality of life while at the same time reducing medical care delivery costs. Reliq noted that iUGO Care offers real-time access to remote patient monitoring data, which permits timely and critical intervention by medical staff that in many cases reduces the need for expensive ER visits and hospital readmissions.
